Booze is Important

Thank you, Kenny. So with the Machine, do I use it as a guide to what suits me and what doesn't? Eat something and then 2 hours later, see what effect it had?
That's pretty much the principle. I found that the most useful times for me were testing first thing in the morning (discovered dawn phenomenon that way), after fasting +16hrs, and then before meals coupled with afterwards. Two hours after eating is the standard interval. I played around with the times and found some things (pastry, potatoes) spike me very quickly - within minutes - others (pulses) take much longer. After a year I now know what to expect with most things I eat or drink so my testing is monitoring mainly, although I will still test for new foods or combinations. You will almost certainly have a different reaction to foods, and you'll need to find what sort of testing regime works for you. Good luck.
