For nearly 8 years since my MCI my health has been monitored using an annual blood test.
For 8 years my HbA1c has been 43 or 44 with differing responses from the medical team.
Last December (2022) the reading was 43 and the comment was "Borderline - see nurse". At last, recognition!
I insisted I wanted to do something about this situation and they gave in resulting in being put on the Second Nature programme. What a revelation!
The moral of the story is - keep perservering.
