I'm struggling to find suitable alternatives to my lunchtime sandwiches for work. I usually take wholemeal brown bread filled with egg or tuna or ham. Has anyone any practical alternatives?
I'm T1 and can and enjoy my carbs.
Hell of a lot of T2's on the forum who have some great meal idea's.
One thing I have tried is a omelette wrap. Basically an omelette cold and filled with whatever takes your fancy. Cheese, red peppers and onion for me.
I think you can actually buy from Tesco.

Big salad full of chopped chicken or ham or tuna or hard boiled egg, etc. Take your sandwich fillings and wrap them in large lettuce leaves. Mixed plate of cold meats, cheeses, olives, avocado, veggies and dip. Welcome to the forum.
