Breakfast Ideas and recipes

Hi, I'm recently diagnosed T2 but I'm struggling with breakfast ideas, I'm a self employed Tiler and need something pretty substantial to stop me from getting hungry during the morning without raising my BG levels. I've tried Porridge and this stopped me from getting hungry but like a lot of people it sends my BG levels too high, I realise I could have Bacon & Eggs or an Omlette but I don't fancy this 5 days a week! Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Think outside the box. Yesterdays lamb stew, soup, re-heated leftovers. Full fat greek yoghurt with berries and almond muffins are popular too.
There is also a really simple nut/seed granola recipe out there.

One of my favourite things to eat is a mash of any veg apart from potatoes, sweet or otherwise, topped with cheese and toasted. This is lovely with cold meats and you can make a big dish of it to keep in the fridge. Even a tin of tuna with mayo goes down a treat in the morning.
