I need some low carb breakfast ideas. I typically eat breakfast at work so don't have the ability to cook. Do have a microwave but don't like using it. Would like something I can prepare in advance. For lunch I typically have a salad with hard boiled eggs.
Maybe I need to move the eggs to breakfast and have something else for lunch.
Feel like I'm struggling with food and always hungry.

Avocado with celery. Leftovers from dinner minus the carbs. Hard boiled eggs with mayo. Lunch could be salad or just deli meat ( good quality ) and cheese with raw veggies and creamy dip.

If you're always hungry are you getting enough fats? Agree that moving eggs to breakfast would be a good idea - you could also batch cook crustless quiche or egg muffins to take to work in portions - they freeze well and you can eat hot or cold, so no need to use the microwave if you don't want to.

For lunch you could have cold meat or fish (tuna or salmon mixed with mayo is very filling) with your salad.

Have a look at the 'what have you eaten today' thread in the low carb forum for more ideas:

What is your reason for not wanting to use the microwave? Scrambled egg is very easy to cook in there (I do it in preference to a saucepan) and so is bacon.

Just never a fan of the microwave.

I'll start looking at the other threads and get more ideas. I've never made a quiche. Might try that.
I made those egg muffins in the past but made me feel nauseous after a week so totally went off them.
I guess I could stock up on the protein rolls and have avocado or peanut butter etc.
Just find a little yogurt or even small amount of oats doesn't keep me going long enough.

I was always ravenous until I found the avocado breakfast. All that healthy natural fat with lots of fiber. Now I can go hours without thinking about food. Carbs in the morning are sure to set me up for starvation. Even protein in the morning makes me hungry. Just a nice fatty bf and I'm balanced all day. I save my protein and veggies for later in the day when I'm more insulin sensitive and the morning hormones ( cortisol and adrenaline ) are done waking up.
For me finding the right bf made all the difference in the world.

There are many ways to eat avocados or guacamole. These days I jus ttakenit out of the skin and smash it with sea salt and pepper or steak seasoning and a little onion and eat it with celery. Best bf ever and very kind to blood sugar. Gives lasting energy too!!!

I'm not a fan of microwaves either, especially proteins. However I do melt a little cheese and steam my veggies in it. That's about it.
