I did not feel any pain as I've had neuropathy in both my feet and lower legs since 2009 - nothing to do with diabetes as I was only diagnosed may 2016. I used to go regularly to the podiatrist but due to hospitalisation I missed a couple of appointments and was taken off their list, only got put back on with a second request from my practice nurse who manages my diabetes. Now down to my question; I had to go for an xray on Tuesday and was told by the podiatrist at the Manchester Foot Hospital that I'd broken my toe in two places. She has asked me to go back on Monday (tomorrow) to be fitted for a boot - What is a boot?</p></blockquote><p></p>
