Hello
I am not replacing medical advice with this forum so please refrain from saying this, I just want to discuss experiences or knowledge from other patients or even good ideas.
My physical activity levels have dropped dramatically the last years due to obesity and inactivity, as I barely did few steps per day. In January, I had pneumonia after running and breathing heavily cold air. Up to March, most of it had resolved but I still had issues and I read that it takes 6 months to fully resolve.
I was unfortunate enough to catch a cold last week. Two days later, it turned into bronchitis which still bothers me after 1.5 weeks. I read that it takes up to 3 weeks to resolve.
As I never had in the past bronchitis or pneumonia, I am worried that from now on, any cold may turn into bronchitis.
Do you have any experience like that?
I plan to do lung physio and start losing weight and exercising regularly, do you think this could prevent me from getting bronchitis again?
I read online that for some people 'every cold gets into their chest' and that one patient had a bronchitis during pregrancy and after that, each time she got a cold, it went to her chest.
Any input?
