Hi,I’m type 1 diabetic, what is the best thing to have for breakfast,,I’m on the libre sensor 2 and lately my readings are going high then dropping quickly I can’t seam yo get a steady account,,not for couple days anyway sometimes I take required amount of insulin to carbs and it’s great then sometimes it can go high or low,,anyone else had this thankyou

With Type 1, you can eat any healthy meal provided you take the correct insulin dose.
In the morning, it is not uncommon to be more insulin resistance which means you may need a higher insulin to carb ratio and may need to pre bolus earlier.
Dawn Phenomenon/Foot on the Floor compounds the problem
I find eating nothing for breakfast makes this worse.

Some people find it helps to eat a lower carb breakfast like natural Greek yoghurt and berries. But you still need the correct bolus dose and timing.
