Wow. I just randomly did a quick google. I did t realize it was so extensive! Not only do I have to manage Diabetes but also my quirky stomach which is equally important / hard The broth I drink is low sodium and only 1 protein for 8 oz. I don’t buy stock which is much much higher in protein. I use about 4 oz, fill the rest with water and add a tich of ghee and a light sprinkle of sea salt. It has to still be better than coffee for me. Sometimes I used the garlic or Italian herb garlic oil instead of ghee I don’t drink wine, rather vodka. Check. Good to go haha I find nightshade veg to cause pain and knee swelling. So no potato tomato eggplant or peppers of all kinds. This with no grains, dairy, legumes or carbs . Let’s not forget my one ounce of cheese some nights. I wake up achy all over. I never eat more than 2oz protein at a time. I don’t digest veggies well and they leave me hungry so those are limited as well. The protein I do eat is lean for the most part and I never eat skin or the fat. The fat in my diet is mostly mono, not animal so hoping that helps lower purine. I’ve NEVER read anything that says avocado is anything other than a superfood and it sure is for me. I limit nuts to no more than an ounce a day. Between Diabetes, my quirky stomach, arthritis and kidney stones there’s not much left. Haha. Hence vodka to deal with it all. And concoct new recipes Do you eat a lot of nightshade veggies? I would cut those out if you do. Gout is a form of arthritis and nightshades are very well known to cause arthritis
