I know this may be a silly question but how long should a battery last in a Code Free BS Monitor. I've only had mine for a week and I've had to replace it already.

They should last longer than that!
Then again depends how long it's been sitting in the pharmacy or gp's.
was it issued by DSN or gp? If so ask them and they should provide spare batteries.

I had to buy it myself. I'll write to the company I bought it from.

I changed mine for the first time about a month ago after having it since April. Battery life will also vary with how many tests you do a day of course - typically I would do about 4-5 a day.
