Prelunch 5.3
Tested at 2 hours. First reading 7.3, second 6.5 and third 6.3.
Guess which one I'm taking! These strips drive me nuts sometimes.
I do find my levels can stay elevated a bit after exercise so I try not to do it too close to my 2 hr test. Also it does seem that there's a tendency to run higher levels in the winter for some diabetics so you may find that everything notches down again as it warms up.
This is so unusual for you I would have to say it's the strips....Bad day for me so far and nothing different food wise. Is it the cold, or the batch 44? Or me?
6.1 fasting (an average of 3)
6.7 at 2hrs after breakfast (yogurt and raspberries with flax)
6.5 before lunch and 4.5hrs after breakfast and an hour after a 20 min walk. Highest EVER. Re-tested. No different.
7.2 at 1hr after. Rise is fine, but high due to pre-lunch level (1 sausage, 3 rashers bacon, 1 egg, lots of mushrooms, 1 tomato)
7.1 at 1.5hrs after
6.5 at 2 hours, so back where I started
