BS readings

So far been pretty good. Even enjoyed 2 apples between meals + a piece of that Moser Roth chocolate

4.7 Pre Dinner, Pork Chop 1/2 Cauli, Lrg Spoon Peas.
5.4 1hr

Fasting 6.2
No post or pre lunch for some reason( blame standing in building society to get money out but refused as my passport expired this year- was not going away so hadn't rushed to renew it- now I need to take a load of stuff in to prove I'm who I say I am )
Post lunch 1hr 6.6
2 hrs 5.1
Pre dinner 5.2
Post 6.3 ( bit close to thirty mins peddling but needs must)
 
7.5 on waking which is high for me. Shocking nite with little sleep, a nightmare or two, hot sweats, pain in the wrists and the feet .... the worst I've felt EVER.

Just miserable.
 
Hi mike, something you ate? Or liver dump? Or worrying about something, this is not like you, I'm sure it's just a blip, keep up the good work )
 
On the road again today so only a couple of readings

Pre breakfast 6.4
Pre evening meal 6.3, 2hrs later 5.9

Liver dump I assumed lowered your BS, not increased them. Just wish I knew as it was NOT a good nite

No BT, I feel otherwise OK and kept the wine down to 2 glasses B4 bed but had 2 thick slices of cheese before retiring.

Liver dump raises your levels. Your liver dumps glucose in your bloodstream in addition to what is already there.

OK ... well I guess that's a good sign provided they don't occur too often. At least with me I don't think they do.

Will hit the couch in about an hour after shopping and try to relax a crazy nite.

Could be a virus Mike , my reading all over the place now I've got a sore throat , high temp ...... And on and on where's my bed.... Just see what tomorrow brings .

Hope everyone feels better soon. It's that time of year when I just get rid of one thing and then the next one starts. Stay warm and hydrated and try and relax xx
 
So many viruses going round, with sore throats and flu like symptoms. My 16 year old granddaughter has it. She went to the GP who did the various tests and it seems her airways have narrowed enough for her to need a temporary inhaler. (She isn't asthmatic, doc says a virus)

Get better everyone. Not a good thing to have at any time, let alone Christmas.
