I am not fully ripped, but I am currently at 12.8% body fat. By using a body composition monitor, I knew my starting weight and fat numbers. I can see that my weight has gone up (muscle weighs more than fat) whilst my fat has gone down.
I am doing this for 2 reasons, the first is to test the after burn to see what impact this has on my sugars (so far I have lower fasting figures, but near as **** it the same HbA1c)
The second reason is I find hitting exhaustion quicker and easier with weights, so more time for living (although HiiT, based static cycling I find a killer). There is 1 additional reason, which is pure vanity, I am trying to reveal a full 6 pack before my 50th in October, if I can stop over eating I have a chance.
