Hi, I stay in india and we don't have insurance here. The price of pumps is very high, has anybody ever bought a insulin pump on amazon? I see one there but not sure about new warrantied etc ! Any comments would be helpful. Thank you

It's certainly not something you can buy over Amazon in the UK, and I couldn't see one on Amazon.in, as you need a healthcare provider's permission to purchase. The one comment I'd make about purchasing a pump is that you need to factor in the cost of the consumables. If you can get one online, you'll need to spend a couple of hundred pounds a month on the sets.

In india, we buy consumables on our own on a monthly basis and don't come with the pump. I saw the minimed 530g on amazon.com

I am mostly concerned about a new pump and underlying warranty.

Can you go to the Medtronic website and see if they have a distributor in India? Or ask your diabetes consultant? He/she may know where they are or who to contact. I got mine through the local Medtronic branch in Istanbul, and it was my consultant who gave me their number after we decided I wanted a pump. He also called them before me.

Buying the pump and consumables aside, would you receive help & support in using the pump correctly?

Yes you receive support, but I am already using an older version for 4 years now. So I know how it works except the sensor part.
