Bydureon - Anybody on these injections and Type1?

Hi I'm type 1 and struggling to get my HB1AC to relly good levels for an operation - the guidelines have tightened considerably since my last op.
the consultant has prescribed Bydureon - 2g injections once a week. I'm on 28 units Degludec / dy and a Novorapid 1:1 carb portion ratio with food.
Has anyone got experience of Bydureon???
