Bydureon needle problems

I've been using Bydureon 2mg pens for a couple of months and have had needles block resulting in the contents being wasted as i had already used the spare needle.
Apparently it is not possible to obtain needles separately (fantastic).
Has anyone else experienced such problems?

i USED IT FOR OVER A YEAR AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM

That's good, wish i had your luck. Just had to use the spare needle again! So it's two injections each time and good old A-Zeneca won't supply the needles separately. Following the instructions to the letter too. Maybe i have the wrong type of skin

I think the problem is down to the mixing and agitation of the pens. If in doubt double or even treble the mixing process. Even now after five years on Bydureon I get the ocassional blocked needle
