Hi Dennis

Had my results back this morning, now down to 6.7 from 7.4 last check, so very pleased.

At the moment my weight loss has stopped not changed in a month, since going onto Byetta I have lost just over 2 stone, I know there is usually a "down turn" where things stop, do hope comes back as I only have 1/2 stone to lose to get to my target of 10.00 stone!!

Do hope you are keeping well yourself.

Regards, Pauline

Hi Pauline,
Yes, I'm well - just taking a bit of a break from the forum for a while.
That's a fantastic set of figures. I also find the weight loss seems to suddenly stop for a while (I think 2 months was the longest for me), then start again for what appeared to me to be no apparent reason, although my consultant said that you only need to up your normal exercise level by a small amount and it can re-energise your metabolism and re-start the weight loss. Like you I am in a no-loss period just now, although I am so close to my target weight I am no too bothered - or to put it another way just feeling too lazy to up the exercise!!

Dennis

I too feel too lazy to do any extra exercise at the moment. I still walk my dog at 6.15 am for about 1/2 hour and again in the evening for 1/2 hour, also up and down stairs at the office hour long walks at the weekend.

This weather doesn't help either, and also at 62 I am getting the hot flushes, wears me out as I only get on average 4 hours sleep per night as I am awake about every 2 hours flushing.

Just sent for my Christmas Chocs. from Hotel Chocolate, it was you who put me onto them last year.

Take care, Pauline
