Byetta & Liraglutide For Type 2 Diabetes

Hi! and welcome! :D

I used to take Byetta and was told at the time,to qualify for the drug,I would have to use it in combination with metformin or gliclazide or both. That was my local health authorities policy but as I've learned on here, they all seem to have different policies so your consultant may well suggest it as a stand alone treatment. Are you already on Byetta or has it just been suggested to you to try.
Also,if you search on this site for Byetta, there are several large threads on the drug with others personal experiences of it.

Best wishes
