The other ingredient which is really bad for ibs but that diabetics use instead of sugar are sweeteners - they are absolute poison for us ibsers!!</p><p></p><p>I am also on Metformin but on the slow release so have not had any trouble with it.</p><p></p><p>I am an ill-health retired medical secretary (back problem!) and spend far too much time on my own at home so am happy to talk on the forums with anyone who wishes to!!</p><p></p><p>Many thanks for your reply and picking up my post.
