Those who have had these tests, were they performed fasting or non-fasting? Everything I read states non-fasting, however my doctor asked me to eat a carb rich diet prior to testing, which I did. Would this not skew the results?

I'll bump your post up.
I am sure I have heard others say that they had to carb load before the tests.

I haven't had either of these tests, so I can't be sure, but the following website: http://www.labtestsonline.org.uk/ describes the tests, test conditions etc. They do suggest both are fasting tests.

The Oral Glucose Tolerance test requires a carby diet beforehand or the results will be skewed. But, that's not the test you asked about.

Does the paperwork give any clues? The paperwork I have to collect for my bloods always confirms any fasting required.

Sorry not to be helpful.
