Hi I am 31 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I have had two normal births previously but this time baby is breech so a c section has been mentioned if baby doesnt turn. Just wanted to hear anyone c section experience how does it work with insulin before and after sceduled c section?

I've just had my 3rd c section! They halved my levemir dose which I did as usual the morning of my section but no rapid as wasn't allowed to eat or drink before hand! My rapid ratio was set at 1:10 as a start and then adjusted from there. I imagine everything post section is the same as it would be post natural delivery? Good luck!
Hiya, my first section I was on injections and I was told to continue taking as normal, they put me on a sliding scale as well. Second section I had a pump and again, no change to rates until baby was born where you go straight back to prepregnancy doses/rates. Good luck, hope all goes smoothly
