My other half has had campylobacter with symptoms for 10 days now. I thought I was safe but yesterday I stared showing symptoms too.
He saw the doc again yesterday and doc said nothing can help, just let it run its course.
What do I do? (Apart from stay near a toilet )

It's very nasty - I had it for about 3 weeks a few years ago before diabetes - I couldn't keep anything down or "in" - sorry if that's tmi lol - to drink I had to sit on the loo because it went through me that fast! I would get in touch with your GP for advice being T2 - are you on any meds? The only advice I can give is plenty of clear drinks and rest as much as you can - don't try to eat if you can help it and keep an eye on your blood sugar - hope your feeling better soon ((()))

When I had campylobacter I took a cough mixture with some kind of morphine in it and it helped. It was against doctor's orders, I might add.

Day 4 and still no improvement. Woke now in the night because of pain and bg 10.8 will try and see the doc in the morning but I doubt they will do anything
