Type 2 Can’t do this anymore advice please

So today I started with some sliced cucumber with a small portion of cheese and some Kimchi

Lunch was miso with tofu and cabage

Dinner will be pickled cabbage with Shrimp
not a lot of fat there. Is that really going to keep you full?
Low carb and keto are not aiming to be low calorie nor do they need to be. Therein lies hunger and failure all too often.

Blimey, you are good. If I did that it would last a couple of days at best. Berries but Greek yoghurt I just love.

I don't want to be rude but that sounds like a really low calorie diet that would make me ravenously hungry and miserable. I do understand how frustrating it all is and your dust comment make me laugh!
I do like tofu but would have it with maybe some stir fried veg and slices of steak.
For breakfast I go for brunch - eggs are the obvious choice, but sometimes I have tuna mixed with vinegar and green beans and onions with a side of red peppers and a couple of buttered crackers - it's not traditional but it is filling and tasty.
Good luck!

All good so far today blood still on the high side ending the day at 11 but down from the normal 15 normally takes a few days of low cards to stabilise before I up fats. I find low carb and v low carb fine when I do it as can normally fast for 4 days when not on the empaglifozin. I think it’s just the meds I am on that have messed up my resolve that and the ankle injury but getting the mindset back on track.

Ok so seen the diabetic nurse today and she is getting the citalopram changed as could be having an effect the empaglifozin has been stopped as going low carb and she gave me three drug options well 4. Carry on with victoza or switch to rybelsus a glp1 tablet form or weekly trulicty. She has also said I could do insulin for a bit to get energy up and sugars under control then look at glp1s again. Lantus. Not sure what yet will be reading up on these. Also been referred to low carb specialist for assistance.

I’m dead impressed they are supporting low carb as an option and staggered they have a low carb specialist. Do you know what type of medical professional this person is or where they are based (community hospital surgery etc)

I would not touch white toast bread, sweet potato fries can take my BG very high too.
