My whole family enjoyed our evening meal, it was roast chicken and halloumi chips with broccoli. I then had three salami 'crisps' and a mug of tea. Low carb, delicious and so satisfying. Have you tried Dietdoctor.com? Great recipes there.

Do you have in your possession a BG meter? This would help you decide/calculate what works for you with any carb count & decisions if any sort of carb might work for you...
