Can antibiotics lower blood glucose reading?

Insulin
Put on Amoxicyline 3 days ago for a chest infection, plus now on Co-codamol for Piriformis Syndrome and my blood glucose reading are substantially lower than usual. Any ideas why please?

It could be that the antibiotics dealing with the infection and the cocodamol dealing with your pain your body is under less stress, although that's pure speculation on my part.
