Hello has anyone had this......saw dietician today, due to long term steroid and daily antibiotic use for other medical conditions,they are talking about trying me on a liquid diet for 1 month to exclude all food to see if that will help. But being type 2 diabetic on insulin.....lantus and apidra....Will work with diabetic team....
Has anyone out there done this please?????

presume you mean the nutrition shakes instead of real meals
i know personally 2 people that have lost 5 and 3 stone respectively using this diet over an 8-10 week period and 1 has eliminated the need for any insulin - the other has greatly reduced needs.

so first hand it can work -- it MUST be closely supervised with weekly visits to the dietician and weigh ins

Thank you....I don't have weight to loose,but have problems digesting food. But thank you for the info.......

No, thank you for the info all the same.....it's reassuring to know other diabetics have been on liquid only regime.......
