I know this sounds really silly but can dreams affect our B.S. levels? For many years I've had....how shall I describe it........a very active imagination..dreamwise! Sometimes I have very vivid accurate premonition dreams and sometimes just very distressing dreams. Last night I had such a vivid dream where a bi-plane crashed into the roof of our house (hopefully not a premonition this time though our town hosts an air-show in a few weeks) and it set fire to our house. I awoke shouting at hubby to get out of the burning house and was actually fighting to breath properly myself, for about 10 minutes after waking.Besides being bathed in sweat, my heart was racing so much, I actually felt rather ill. Hubby, of course, slept through all this and just snored loudly..............his concern overwhelms me!!! :lol Anyway,I tested my blood sugars once I'd calmed down and they were fine but had GONE UP by this morning. Very unusual for me. I know about the dawn phenomenon but was curious to know if stressful dreams have an impact on B.S.?
