Anonymous Question Can I eat snickers?

yes you can but it will greatly increase your sugar levels very fast, therefore i personally would inject some fast acting insulin before hand. DEPENDING ON IF YOU ARE T1 OR T2

Not if you are type 2

avoid sweets, chocolates, cakes, biscuits, bread, rice, pasta & potatoes, read the forum, you will pick up some tips on what is good and what is not

I suggest you don't. Try a handful of peanuts and some 85% dark chocolate. You could melt the chocolate and add the nuts to that and then eat that if you want it mixed together. Ohh I have tempted myself now. But don't eat too much

I've eaten snickers fairly recently.
Not a good choice, but under the circumstances, it was the best choice of an entire snack machine of bad choices.

The peanuts make it a lower GL option than, say, a Mars Bar.
But a much better choice would be a handful of peanuts.

Standard sized snickers has 27 grams of sugar, 33 grams carb content. Personally I'd avoid it like the plague (even though I could happily munch one right now).

Also, you don't mention if you're type 1 or type 2, or what, if any, medication you're on. This could make a big difference to how it affects you.

Regularly? Absolutely not.

Every once in a while? Sure, why not
