I have had IDD since the age of 2, that's 46 years and still find it difficult to gain good control. I would be very, very keen to try a new method. Is it possible to get insulin pumps in the UK, and what do i have to do to get one?

Talk to your consultant. Insulin pumps are available if you meet certain criteria, mostly inadequate control despite patient's best efforts on MDI.
