iam Taking a medicine called xarelto 20 mg daily for deep vein thrombosis i have it 3 times befor
can i take bydureon and did bydureon make for me another thrombosis

Hi rash and welcome.

Reading through the information leaflet for Bydureon, there is nothing to suggest that there is any indication that it might cause blood thickening or clots. There is a warning that your Dr. needs to know about Warfarin sodium. This is a blood thinner but there is no mention of any other ones.


Before using BYDUREON, tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, as taking them with BYDUREON may affect how each medicine works. Tell your healthcare provider if you take other diabetes medicines, especially insulin or a sulfonylurea, or warfarin sodium (Coumadin® or Jantoven®).
