last night i was on facebook and one of the groups was a wrap 12 carbs of which 7 were fliber so she said total net carbs were 5
when i look at labels i just look at carbs and walk off depressed because they are too high
is there a secret to working out carbs?

You may have been talking to someone in America. They count their fiber differently to us in UK. Just focus on the carb amounts here, we can ignore the fiber as it has already been counted.

i think a lot on the group are american
ill stick to just reading carbs then........thanks

@licklemoose a good way of spotting if it needs subtracting is to look at the spelling - if it’s “fibER” chances are it’s American and needs subtracting from the total to give you the actual digestible carbs (the bit that’s important to us). If it’s spelt “fibRE” it’s probably already a separate thing and you can ignore it. Also, on US labels, fiber is listed as a subheading under cabohydrates along with the sugar count. Most other countries list it completely separately.
