Hi I’ve got a true metric air meter. It links to an app on phone etc. I’m sure I read somewhere you could get a prediction of what your hba1c might be!
But I can’t work out how to do it.
So can it be done and if so how?

The mySugr app predicts A1C after a certain number of entries.
It’s a estimate dependant on how may tests so not complexly accurate.

I’m truly awful at logging things. In fact that’s an understatement lol.
I have the app I just never do it.
But this machine is supposed to be Swanky so thought maybe it would do it.

My Contour Next meter calculates glucose level averages over various time periods using its stored data and I use my 90 days average with our diabetes.co.uk calculator to predict my HbA1cs. This always gives slightly lower predictions (about 2 points) than my actual blood test results, but it's perfectly consistent with its estimates.

Accu-Chek also have a similar HbA1c calculator, and I get almost identical predictions from that.

Both also do the opposite and calculate average glucose levels from your HbA1c results.

(And I find that since my glucose levels are pretty stable, I can also use shorter times to get a fair estimate from either converter, if needs be.)
