Cannabis - effect on diabetes

I have been researching ferociously on the Internet about the affect of cannabis for diabetes.

A lot of research mentions cannabinoids - what exactly are they and would you get those if you smoked or consumed it in space cakes?

I have been asked to go to the Netherlands and wanted to ask!

Obviously you may get the "munchies" but I have read so much about cannabis oil that I'm amazed (but not surprised) that it's not legal.

Has anyone else got any experience/or know about this?

My nephew called said I should try a "joint" - ha ha! Not smoked tobacco for 15 years so no smoking for me!

Or you could just go to the Anne Frank Museum, ride a canal boat etc.
