Cannot eat in the morning.

I am type 2 diabetic, have been for over 40 years and been on insulin (Novomix) for over 30 of those years.

I know it states that you must eat something when you take insulin but although I take this and other medication first thing with a morning cup of coffee I just cannot bring myself to eat anyting at least till around lunch time.

I do not know if this effects me in anyway but never been a breakfast person.

Any ideas please ?
 
Hi @vicisaacs I've removed your other post as it was a duplicate and this post had already had a response, let me know if you want this one moved ?

If you're testing your BG levels and you're staying in range despite taking your Novomix without eating anything, then it's working fine for you, the danger of not eating and taking insulin is running low blood sugar, hence the advice to eat.
