Having high blood sugars!!!!!
So for the past couple of days high blood sugars, went down then bounced back up lowest 6.6 after a 4 hour temp basal of 120%. Then a couple of hours later 15.4, thought stuff this, so called Kings, 30 mins later call back from consultant , gave info ketones 0.1 or 0.2 told not to worry as ketone range good(thank god). Said now on Easter hols( work in a school) could that be a problem(told possible, also been in a different unit, not so much graft). So told set temp basal at 120% for 24hrs great, said if bs went down below 13 would switch temp of just tested and 6.6 oh joy of joys. Will test at 3am and I see my DSN at Kings tomorrow, I love the treatment and help I get from their. It would take my own hosp hours to get back to me and they don't deal with pumps, so would be DKA :-(, by the time they called back. I really can not fault Kings so glad I moved , been told after 6 months I can move back to my own area. I personally really do not want to this.

Its early days yet for you Julie and you'll find that there will be times when bg starts to change upwards or downwards even when you think all the basal rates are correct. Frustrating yes... but you get used to doing tbr and sometimes leaving tbr alone and just adjusting the offending basals and sometimes just altering the bolus. Just make sure you make friends with yr bg meter and test frequently to spot the changes so that you can do something. It will all get easier over time and you wont panic.

I called them Omnipod, as I live on the Southeast coast, so no hope of getting to Kings A&E. All pump patients are given a number to call, when things go up the wall. On Boxing Day I had to call and got to speak to Prof S Amiel( do a google, and see what's she has done incl the Daphne course). As I said I can't fault the team. And thank iHs, I'm on my way to Kings now as I type this reply.
