I was fitted with a Paradigm Veo yesterday with saline for training and I am due to go onto insulin tomorrow. However at the time of choosing my pump I did not have the post-op effects of cataract surgery and other eye problems which I have now. Initially I liked the Animas pump and was set to go with it until I read some negative user reviews which put me off it. I love the Animas screen and was is able to see black background with White foreground a lot easier under current circumstances.
Yesterday I was unable to read the screen of the Veo and I'm going to have to inform them tomorrow that it's impractical to use it. I really can't understand why anyone is using green screen LCD displays these days. Mobile phones haven't used them for years so why this new model pump?
I have no idea what will be said but I am feeling very frustrated and upset right now.
I'm not sure I can swap for another after being funded.
