Hi all, wanted to update you all as I have finally spoken to my doctor about my results of the second hac. To refresh, I was put on Gliclozide early May when my hba1c was 96 :O and was given 6-8 weeks to bring my hba1c level down otherwise i was looking at insulin.
Worked hard at the gym and low car bing and stressing about the Gliclozide not working etc and generally being a pain searching for knowledge to help!!
Had my latest test on Monday and they've come back at 61 (7.7%) and the doctor has said she's very pleased. She has booked me in for another in 8 weeks to see if we can get it even lower. If not, then I will go on the one that inhibits the part where the kidneys put the sugar back into the blood!!
A year ago, it was all spiralling out of control and I knew it, all I needed was a little support
the docs kept throwing me pills and even anti depressants :/ however a change of surgery and I cannot thank my current doc enough! !
I have never had such an encouraging conversation with a doctor before!!
Sorry I've rambled on a bit I'm just a teeny bit motivated / happy / want to shout from the rooftops except no one understands the number apart from you guys haha
