Canulas going bad after 2 days vs site exhaustion

I've been having issues with sets recently having moved back to stomach. I've tried longer canulas which seem to work except on the area in the centre which seems to be a no go on absorption. However, I've noticed that for the entire 3rd day I'm having rubbish readings. I used to be able to get a good 3 days of good readings from a Mio. Is this a sign of site exhaustion or to be expected after a while? I've only been pumping since June 2015.

Use a different set as in an angled one and see if that makes a difference. I've been pumping for about 9 years and have only ever used my stomach, no issues at all and using an angled set. Longer isn't always the solution.

Thanks @CarbsRok . I tried with the angled set a few weeks ago and had erratic absorption as well which is when I switched to a longer canula. I had used angled sets nearly entirely on my stomach for most of the 9 months I was using it as a site. Maybe I'll try again and see if I have better luck. While I don't mind angled sets I do find them more uncomfortable to insert and they damage my skin more externally. I've tried all types of skin barriers underneath but none seem to resolve this.

I've had a pump since October last year and have discovered that cannulas in my tummy on the right-hand side aren't good news - I'd injected there for decades, and absorption was rubbish, and I had difficulty whenever I put a cannula in that area.

Someone suggested my back - between the level of my tummy button and my waistband, in an area from a couple of inches away from my spine to the edge of my back - ie before my back becomes my side, if that makes sense.

It's brilliant! And the hosepipe doesn't get in my way at all. I use 6mm straight cannulas (Insight flex) - when I tried the 8mm it was far too deep, ineffective and painful.
