Capisspam

Sounds about right. I hope the new forum will have a more senseable approach to some of these words.

Knowledge is the key to control

caps i spam is the chillie pepper family. If you google it then it also refers to cayenne pepper. There are some online sites for capsi capsules or you could buy fresh chillies or cayenne powder from Tesco. (It's for improving circulation).

Please be careful with capsi c u m, dont apply directly to your skin,it can irritate the skin and even cause blisters, a neighbur mixed it to a paste with water and applied to the feet, she ended up with huge blisters, a couple burst and became infected, she is not diabetic but even so they took a long time to heal.

Better for circulation is to wriggle your toes while yuu sit or lie down and flex your feet up and down, etc

All the best

Karen

Challenges can be stumbling blocks or stepping stones, it depends how you view them

I think the idea is that you eat the chillies. Ginger is also good for the circulation.

Hi Lee

Have been reading a book Questions and Answers (for diabetes - quite a good book, simple reading) and it refers to a cream that can be used for painful feet. I think that this is probably the one your DN was talking to you about.
It is called capsaicin but I recommend reading about it before you make a purchase. There are a few links if you google capsaicin. Below is one the I thought was quite informative.
