Mine didn't. They may increase slightly. Guess it depends also on any claims, so on!

It made no difference to my insurance.

Their rationale was - if the DVLA says you are fit to drive then we are not going to have an opinion.

They barely cared. There is a note on my file that I am a T1 Diabetic on a medically restricted license, and that's it.
