Carb Addiction

Thanks for that VBee - reading the Mail for us is an example of supreme self-sacrifice - we salute you!
I think most of us who have had weight issues at some point in their lives would agree that an addiction to carbs played a significant part in that.
Now, back to the Daily Star.........

All the best,

In amongst the comments...

Here in Sweden we have an almost public uprising against carbs - our slogan is LCHF- LowCarbHighFat. Eat saturated fats -real butter, full fat milk , cream and yoghurts with no sugar added. Eat nothing that has more than 5% carbs in it. You can go lower if you want to. Stay off fruits, and also vegetables that grow below ground. Eat moderately of those vegs that grow above ground.
No bread, rice, pasta and potatoes.
It keeps you satisfied for hours more and most people lose a lot of weight. This works especially well for people suffering from Diabetes type two and the Metabolic Syndrome (brought on by too much indulgence in carbs)
