I'm on a 20g per day for 12 weeks with intermittent weekly fasting. I was scared to death when I started it, thinking I would find it impossible. Because I am getting moderate protein and plenty of fat, I am satisfied all the time and have found it easy. All my metabolic markers (other than my HbA1c) have moved into the non-diabetic range, although I am of course still diabetic. Good luck as you begin your journey. With focus and determination you have every chance of success.
