Hi. Can I ask when reading a label on a product do you read the whole carbs or just the sugars. I was only diagnosed type 2 last week and I've just been reading the sugars.
 
In the UK read the total carbs - they all turn into glucose just those that are 'sugars' do so at a faster rate..
 
No, you need to look at the total carbs, as both they and the sugar end up as glucose in your blood.
