Hi all, I see a freind the other day she commented on how much weight I had lost, and how well I looked, I told her I am t2, and on a very low carb diet, she replied that her gp had told her she was '' borderline'' diebetic'' :? she asked me about my diet, I explained all about carbs, to which she replied that her gp had advised her to eat all the carbie stuff, ie; pasta, spuds, white bread, (I have read this advice on here that has been given to other forum members).... hopefully she will now change her diet, even though not t2 it will be much healthier for her.....ps.. :D is'nt this weather wonderful...

Her Doctor told her to eat white bread? This is the first time ever that I hear a Doctor advising a patient to eat white bread, usually they advice to eat brown bread.

There's a first time for everything I suppose!
