'Carbs and Cals' app/book

Hello,
I have been advised by my diabetes doctor&dietician that getting the 'carbs & cals' app - similar to the book - will help me with carb counting as i am relatively new to it.
Has anyone got this and would recommend it? it costs £3.99 so i would be grateful to hear people's (especially diabetics'!) views before buying it
i'm guessing there should be reviews in the info section on itunes but its not loading

It's great. I have the big book, the handy pocket size book and the app - to cover all angles :lol: recommended.

Yes, I agree, it is useful, particularly in a restaurant. You can add up all the carbs in your meal and it has the same portion pictures as the book. Quite easy to use. It hasn't been updated in a while though, at least the iPhone one hasn't. I would kind of like them to add some different foods.
