Does anyone else have problems with the carbs & cals app on iPhone?

My pictures don't match up to the food, not even close!

For example...

Has anyone been able to fix this? I use the pictures so I can see my portion size.

It used to be really good :(

Time to dig out the big hand bag and start carrying the book.

Mines on auto update too. I've deleted it and downloaded it again too and it's still the same!

It's a pain in the butt really!

Seems OK for me - although I just had to wait several minutes to download latest data

I'm not impressed by the Carbs n' Cals App, There are lots of better apps out there, most of them free. I just downloaded one called 'DAFNE online' a 'Full diary' which I'm quite impressed by. Ok, no Pretty pictures, but it allows me to add all my own stuff, and as I do alot of cooking, and rarely eat out of cans or buy takeaways (which carbs 'n' cals seems focused on), I dunno, I just think CnC has been recommended so much by HCP as the definitive book/app, everything else seems to be ignored. My 2 pence worth anyway.

I only use it for the pictures to be honest, helps me know how many carbs are in things without weighing them exactly.
I'm just lazy lol

I only use it in restaurants or where I can't easily measure food.

What would be really cool would be Carbs & Cals food-recognition software... you take a picture of your meal and it works out the carbs for you :)

It's kinda handy when eating out. On more than one occaision, my game of "guess the carbs" has resulted in me hitting the floor 2 hrs later ;-)
