I bought the book in a country store near Powys castle last year. My husband shocked the dietician in the renal unit when he said we already have a copy. It's very useful, but not acurate . for accurate carb counting, I'd use "the calorie, carb and fat bible" or one of the Collins Little gems", which gives nutrient tables, and use weighing scales initially. The carbs and cals book gives a quick reference. You also need plates of the sizes shown in the photos.
Good luck with it.
