Do you want to understand Carbs and Cals? Well I received an advert through Diabetes UK re: the above book and I would advise anybody wanting help to understand the level of sugar in foods they eat, to buy this book. It is £12.99 but I'm sure it will be worth every penny, because we all need to know exactly what carbs are in natural foods. Having been T1 for 60 years I consider it essential you know what you are eating.

I love this fun to use and well illustrated book. An app is available too at £3.99
 
Just found the above book on Amazon under £9.00 with free postage. This could save your lives. My friend also recommended an American publication also obtainable from Amazon called Sugar Busters which I'm told is amazing.
