If you want a reasonably good guide to carb content of foods "Carbs & Cals" is available as a book and as an app for a phone. If you want more data that covers a vast range of foods (well over 3000) and gives more detailed info about dietary contents, then the Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset is very comprehensive.
