@badcat posted on the "what have you eaten today" thread about low carb tortillas, which she got from Amazon. I had a look at what else the seller has and I'm amazed to see what's on there:

Low carb pasta, bread tortillas, Nutella, muesli. I'm definitely going to spend a load of money there, unless anyone warns me away from any of the products.

Think I saw someone on here dissing the stuff when you read the packet, it's not really low carb. Sorry, just do more research before wasting your money Sam. x

Have a look at lowcarbmegastore too, I get low carb wraps from them. I also bought sugar free maple syrup - its not something I eat every day, but its nice in yogurt occasionally.

I don't know about any of their other products but from the packet information the tortillas are 5g carbs and 15g fibre apiece

I think the OP was talking about their pasta range, and when you did the workings out, it wasn't noticeably lower in carbs and therefore not worth the extra money.

That doesn't really say if they are low carb. You need the carbs per 100g to know that. Also sounds like it might be American labelling if they are mentioning fibre?

The tortillas are around 65g apiece, making them around 7.5g carbs and 22.5g fibre per 100g
Average values for wheat tortillas are around 55g carbs and 7.5g fibre per 100g

Check very carefully Carbzone labels, they're know from Sweden on the dietdoctors Swedish site to have wrongly carb amount on the package - the tortillas are 21g carbs per 100g

Can you provide your source for this information please, a link to this evidence of falsified food labels. Thank you.

you can buy almond meal/flour for 20 quid a kilo or buy some almonds for a whole lot less than that and put them in a kitchen processor
I would get onto the low carb cooking sites before I spent big bucks on lables
